2014年，年仅13岁的他赢得柴可夫斯基国际青少年音乐比赛，从此在国际乐坛崭露头角。爱满地古典音乐频道曾如此评价道：“他不仅展示出精确的技巧，还有令人难以置信的成熟，这超出了我们对他作为“一名青少年”的预期。其演奏的音色如水晶般清澈且有着完美的平衡，这表明他具有超凡的能力。”马洛费耶夫一跃成为其同辈中最杰出的钢琴家之一。

马洛费耶夫近期曾随里卡尔多·夏伊（Riccardo Chailly）执棒的瑞士琉森音乐节管弦乐团赴亚洲巡演，还曾与米哈伊尔·普雷特涅夫（Mikhail Pletnev）执棒的意大利卡利亚里抒情歌剧院管弦乐团同台演出；此外，他还在英国与基里尔·卡拉比茨（Kirill Karabits）执棒的英国伯恩茅斯交响乐团合作音乐会，还曾赴意大利与法比奥·路易西（Fabio Luisi）执棒的意大利国家广播交响乐团共同演出。在2022/2023乐季，马洛费耶夫首登四大夏季音乐节的舞台，即：瑞士韦尔比耶音乐节、美国拉维尼亚音乐节、由瓦西里·彼得连科（Vasily Petrenko）执棒的美国阿斯本音乐节、以及由迈克尔·蒂尔森·托马斯（Michael Tilson Thomas）执棒的美国坦格尔伍德音乐节。本乐季，他还将在荷兰阿姆斯特丹皇家音乐厅、美国旧金山戴维斯交响音乐厅、卢森堡音乐厅、德国慕尼黑伊萨爱乐音乐厅等众多场馆举行演出。

马洛费耶夫2001年10月出生于莫斯科，他曾就读于莫斯科两大传奇学府——格涅辛特殊音乐学校和国立柴可夫斯基音乐学院。

马洛费耶夫曾与世界上最知名的交响乐团合作，如：美国费城交响乐团、意大利圣切契利亚管弦乐团、瑞士琉森音乐节管弦乐团、意大利斯卡拉爱乐乐团、意大利国家广播交响乐团、英国伯恩茅斯交响乐团、德国法兰克福广播交响乐团、韩国交响乐团、俄罗斯马林斯基剧院交响乐团、俄罗斯国家交响乐团、“莫斯科炫技”国家室内乐团、波罗的海爱乐乐团、俄罗斯国家爱乐乐团、法国里尔国家交响乐团、瑞士韦尔比耶音乐节室内乐团。

除了在柴可夫斯基国际青少年音乐比赛中夺魁外，马洛费耶夫还多次赢得国际大赛并屡屡获颁音乐节奖项，如：首届国际大钢琴青少年比赛大奖、2017年度青年音乐人才奖、以及“2017年最佳青年音乐家”称号。也是在2017年，马洛费耶夫当选首位“雅马哈青年艺术家”。

Young “Russian genius” (Corriere della Sera) came to international prominence when, in 2014, he won the International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians at age thirteen. “Contrary to what could be expected of a youngster …, he demonstrated not only high technical accuracy but also an incredible maturity. Crystal clear sounds and perfect balance revealed his exceptional ability” (Amadeus). Malofeev has quickly established himself as one of the most prominent pianists of his generation.

Alexander’s recent appearances include a Asia tour with the Lucerne Festival Orchestra under Riccardo Chailly, with the Orchestra del Teatro Lirico di Cagliari under Mikhail Pletnev, concerts in the UK with Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and Kirill Karabits, concerts in Italy with RAI National Symphony Orchestra and Fabio Luisi. In 2022-2023 season, Malofeev has his debuts at 4 major summer festivals: Verbier Festival, Ravinia Festival, Aspen Music Festival with Vasily Petrenko and Tanglewood Music Festival with Michael Tilson Thomas; as well as his concerts in Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco, Philharmonie Luxembourg, Isarphilharmonie in Munich and many others.

Maestro Riccardo Chailly said about the pianist: “I first heard Malofeev when Valery Gergiev performed with him at the Teatro alla Scala three years ago. He was only 14, and he amazed me with his talent. Because that is not just a child prodigy: he is very young, but already possesses depth and technical abilities, and also musical and mnemonic, which makes him an excellent interpreter of the 3rd Concerto of Rachmaninov, which is a problem for many pianists in the world.” (Corriere della Sera, October 2019).

Alexander was born in Moscow in October 2001. The pianist studied at two legENDary Moscow institutions: Gnessin Moscow Special School of Music and Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory.

Alexander Malofeev performs with the world’s best known orchestras, such as the Philadelphia Orchestra, Orchestra of the National Academy of Santa Cecilia, Lucerne Festival Orchestra, Orchestra Filarmonica della Scala, RAI National Symphony Orchestra, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Frankfurt Radio Symphony (hr-Sinfonieorchester), Korean Symphony Orchestra, Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra, Russian National Orchestra, State Chamber Orchestra “Moscow Virtuosi”, Baltic Sea Philharmonic orchestra, National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, Orchestre National de Lille and the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra.

Alexander gives concerts in Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), where he opened the 30th anniversary concert of the renowned Meester Pianists series, Teatro alla Scala (Milan), Kurhaus Wiesbaden (Germany), Munich Herkulessaal (Germany), Philharmonie de Paris, Theater of the Champs-Elysees (France), Alten Oper Frankfurt, Auditorium Parco della Musica in Roma, Queensland Performing Arts Centre (Australia), Lotte Concert Hall (Seoul), Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, Shanghai Oriental Art Center, National Centre for the Performing Arts (Beijing), Royal Opera House Muscat in Oman, Bolshoi Theatre, Mariinsky Theatre and Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory.
